Adobe acquires Virtual Ubiquity

| | Comments (0)

Adobe finally has announced that they has acquired Waltham, Mass-based Virtual Ubiquty for an undisclosed sum, and in doing so has officially entered the web office fray.(readwriteweb.com)

Have you ever heard about "buzzword", which is an online word processor created in Flex. Virtual Ubiquity is the makers of this flex application. It is a flax based application just like Google Docs, Zoho, Glide, and ThinkFree. It is logically that Adobe will enhance Buzzword based on AIR application. It is excited that they will issue the installation pack next year. Buzzword is first online word processor and it might be a threat to Microsoft, where as I do not think it can be an absolute substitute of Microsoft office. Microsoft has already gained most of the market shares and it is still act as the biggest player in this field.
