"A beautiful mind"
I watched “a beautiful mind” again these days. The movie was produced in 2001, the story is based on the true story about Professor John Nash of Princeton University, who was a Nobel Prize-winner.

Russel Crowe played John Nash in the movie. The story is about a common college student Nash, who always want to attract others’ attention. However, the fact is sometimes against with people’s expectations. Under hard pressure, such as thesis research etc, Nash starts to imaging being a code-breaker contributing his knowledge to the Pentagon as a Spy. Day after day, he really enjoys his hallucinated world, isolates himself from reality , cannot distinguish reality from hallucination, even after he becomes a professor. Several years later, he marries one of his students. By accident, his wife finds out his mental problems, and sends him to hospital starting treatment. They find Nash has made up 3 people who do not exist only in his hallucination, they are a roommate, a roommate’s niece, and a contact person from the Pentagon. These three seems to accompany Nash forever. Nash is a real genius, after he realizes the facts, ignores those three persons, refuses to talk to them etc. Although the hallucination never disappeared from his life. He overcomes the disease and starts his research again, finally becoming a great mathematician.
Generally speaking, psychological movies always make people feel bored, however, the director made the story feel really true and attractive. The end of the movie is different from others, the hallucination never disappeares, but mentally he overcomes the disease, because his “beautiful mind”, and “love” from family and friends. This movie does not discriminate the person who has a mental problem. Furthermore, the movie is telling audiences about and convincing them of Nash’s outstanding points from another angle. The movie shows that something can make our life better: fairness, freedom, respect and love. “A beautiful mind” is a movie which is worth watching.
